Cellists Perri Morris and Annabelle will perform works for two cellos at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 35 Park St. in Williamstown, on Monday, July 26th, at noon.
here is no charge for admission; donations to offset costs are gratefully accepted. Concerts continue every Monday at noon through August 23rd. The series is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
Perri Morris was a member of the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra and has performed with the Spoleto and Waterloo Festivals and with the Vermont, Springfield, and Berkshire Symphonies and the New York Chamber Soloists. She is director of strings programs at the Village School in North Bennington and Pine Cobble School in Williamstown, and maintains private studios in Williamstown and Bennington.
Annabelle Hoffman has toured with the New York Philharmonic, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta Salzburg, and the American Symphony Orchestra, and participated in the Mostly Mozart, Marlboro, and Aspen Festivals. She has performed in Broadway pit orchestras including Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. She has taught on the faculty of The Calhoun School, the 92nd Street Y, and Apple Hill.
