The 19th Summer Noontime concert series opens with a performance of Spiritual Journey, a performance piece for vocalist/narrator featuring Negro Spirituals along with stories of an enslaved people. Performers include tenor Irwin Reese, who sang with the Metropolitan Opera for 23 years, and Greenfield-based pianist Julia Bady.
Intimate setting, superb acoustics. Admission is free (donations welcome). Children are invited.
Concerts continue every Monday through August 15.
